Famous Restaurants

Wine Bar George

Both locals and visitors love Wine Bar George at Disney Springs. More than 200 wines from all over the world are offered by the restaurant on its renowned wine list, which can be enjoyed by the ounce, glass, or bottle. Get the Big Board, six artisanal cheeses, five artisanal meats, and accompaniments when it’s time to start snacking.

We also adore the grilled Greek sea bass with white bean ragout, warm spinach with tomato confit, and cipollini onions, or the family-style platters of skirt steak with baby zucchini, patty pan squash, cipollini onions, and roasted potatoes. In addition, Wine Bar George offers a lavish weekend brunch that includes dishes like fried chicken biscuits with pimento cheese and brioche French toast.

Black Rooster Taqueria

Black Rooster Taqueria is one of Orlando’s best Mexican eateries. Tacos are prepared with delectable fish and beef entrees and freshly cooked tortillas. To complete the menu, the restaurant also serves bowls and ceviches. Since this restaurant serves chilaquiles, a staple of Mexican breakfasts, brunch is a popular time to visit.

The restaurant’s vibrancy is felt in both the menu and the décor. The colorful and authentic Day of the Dead themed atmosphere is highlighted with artwork from local artists, pre-loved refurbished furniture collected from the Central Florida area, and handmade tables by Chef John.

Reyes Mezcaleria

Reyes Mezcaleria is situated in Downtown Orlando’s thriving North Quarter District. Michoacán native Wendy Lopez, the executive chef, offers creative Mexican food that goes well with a distinctive bar experience that includes handcrafted cocktails and an amazing selection of over 150 agave spirits. The staff at Reyes is dedicated to providing carefully crafted food made with the best ingredients in order to reflect Mexican spirits, cuisine, and culture. Local restaurateurs Jason and Sue Chin of Good Salt Restaurant Group, who also own and run The Osprey, Seito Sushi Baldwin Park, and The Monroe, launched Reyes Mezcaleria in 2017.

A great place to enjoy a variety of mexican dishes with a broad tequila-mezcal selection, Reyes Mezcaleria also has a lively patio for enjoying your food and drinks.

Theme Parks

Fun Spot

Every local knows exactly what is “Huge” in the area. Between the catchy local ads and a lighting package that makes it hard to miss the two Fun Spots in town. With a small gator attraction, one of the best wooden coasters ever built, and the massive SkyCoasters, Fun Spot is a popular, cheaper alternative when locals want an adrenaline rush but don’t want to deal with the massive crowds that fill the theme parks.

Universal Islands of Adventure

Universal Islands of Adventure, originally called Universal Studios Islands of Adventure and later Universal’s Islands of Adventure, is a theme park located in Orlando, Florida.

This is where it goes down. And up. And down again. To those who say “Yay adventure” we’re here for you. Superheroes. Magical creatures. A school of witchcraft and wizardry. Even dinosaurs (turns out, not so extinct). Take a ride, multiple rides. Some will drench you. Some will just mess up your hair. Some will make your head spin (figuratively speaking). All of them will say: Every island is a new reality.
